International Group Insurance for Missionaries and Ship Crews
Missionary organizations and Yacht crews in international waters are perfect examples of who the GroupSecure® plan can benefit. Make sure your missionary or ship crews are covered with the appropriate medical coverage while they're located in faraway lands or aboard vessels in one of the many seas. Some of the benefit package options include:
- Preventative Package: Routine check-ups, annual screenings, and preventative vaccines are often a necessity for employees located abroad.
- Emergency Assistance Package: Medical emergencies can happen anywhere at any time, so be sure that your employees are covered. This package includes emergency medical evacuation, repatriation of remains, and emergency reunion coverage.
- Mental Health Disorders: GroupSecure® offers coverage for both inpatient and outpatient treatment for mental health disorders.
An eligible group for our international group employer health insurance plan, GroupSecure®, would likely consist of either a US-based corporation or organization which employs US employees abroad, local country nationals in a country other than the US, or third country nationals working in a country other than their home country but not within the US. Groups consisting of at least three employees and a single billing location and payer source can be considered for GroupSecure®.
HCCMIS requires at least 80% participation of the eligible group.
